个人陈述：Statement of Purpose：1-3 pages.
What’s the point? We want to know about yourmotivationfor pursuing graduate studies at Emory as well as the research area(s) and faculty that most interest you.
翻译资料：Transcripts：1 for each post-secondary institution you’ve attended.
Why? We want to see official grades for all your post-secondary training. Transcripts mustbe issuedby the registrar’s office, but unofficial copies are acceptable. Transcripts mustbe in English or accompanied by translations. If accepted to Emory, you must submit a sealed, official transcript directly to the Laney Graduate School and any translation must benotarized.
you may wish to include academic awards and honors, including honors projects; independent research experiences; publications and presentations; volunteer andextra-curricular experience; internships and work experience; and membership in professional and academic organizations.Longer is okay, if needed, but we find that 2 pages is enough for most applicants to identify their most important experience and accomplishments.
You will be asked to provide basic information, including an email, mailing address, and phone number. Please make sure this information is up to date…this is how we will contact you to let you know your final admissions status. We will also ask you to confirm some key details of your academic profile, such as schools you have attended. Some information is optional (as indicted on the online form.)

For each person, please provide:
· Home Institution
· “Snail” mail address

You will be asked to identify up to five faculty of interest from a list of faculty accepting students in Fall 2020—faculty accepting students are marked with an asterisk on the Research page of our website. Please discuss your choices in your personal statement.

· Name of Project/Experience
· Description of Project/Experience (250 character limit)
· Description of Your Role (250 character limit)

You will be given the opportunity to add an optional diversity statement to your application. We are particularly interested in how you will contribute to building a diverse community at Emory, both through your own experiences and through your awareness of diversity, broadly defined.
This section of the application is entirely optional. This can be helpful to give you more space to explain a significant research experience or to demonstrate English proficiency.
Chemistry requires either the TOEFL or IELTS exam for international applicants. We require a minimum TOEFL iBT score of 80 and suggest that a score of 100 or higher will be more competitive. We do accept the IELTS in lieu of the TOEFL and suggest a band score of 6 will be minimally competitive while 7.5 would be more competitive.
Please use code 5187 to report your TOEFL scores directly to Emory. IELTS scores are accepted by mail to:
Emory University Department of Chemistry, Attn. Graduate Admissions, Mail Stop: 2040-003-1AA (ECAS: Chemistry), 1515 Dickey Drive NE, Atlanta, GA 30322
You may also self-report your scores in the application. If you are offered admission, you must submit matching, official scores to finalize your offer. Applicants who have studied for at least one year in an English-speaking country are exempt from this requirement. We do not require or allow a GRE score for either the general test or the chemistry subject test.
